SMART TANNING Appropriate lelvels of sunlight are different for every person, but the most important thing to remember is NEVER BURN!! Tanning is a process that happens gradually. For most people it takes between 5 to 7 sessions to develop a tan. When you are establishing a base tan it is recommended that you space your sessions 48 hours apart. We encourage this to avoid overexposure. When you tan, it takes anywhere from 12 to 48 hours for your color to fully develop; by tanning to frequently you may unintentionally overexpose yourself, resulting in a sunburn. Many people falsely assume that a burn will eventually "fade" into a tan, however burning will only slow your progress. Indoor tanning equipment utilizes a carefully formulated and controlled mixture of UVA & UVB light waves, designed to give you the darkest tan possible, while minimizing the risk of sunburn. It is also important to remember to protect yourself outdoors. When recreating outside wear a sunscreen - even if you already have a tan. Remember, you can still tan while wearing sunscreen, and you can still burn if you have a tan. |

LOTION Lotion is an essential part of the tanning process. Moist nourished skin tans best. Professional tanning products are formulated to maximize the results of your session, while increasing the quality of your tan. Lotion will help you to tan faster, darker, and keep your color longer!! |

TANNING TIPS *Protect your eyes with FDA approved eyewear *DO NOT BURN...this will only slow your progress *Space your sessions 48 hours apart *Always use a quality lotion *Remove make-up before tanning...a clean face tans best *Exfoliate prior to tanning to prolong your results *Pamper your skin with an after tan moisturizer *If you are tanning for vacation or an event make sure you give yourself enough time to establish a tan (a minimum of two weeks is recommended) Please Ask!.....We are a Professional Tanning Salon certified by the Suntan Association for Education & the International Smart Tan Network and we are a member of the National Tanning Training Institute.
